This trick has been in my show for years, and is hard to find. We just got the last six from Europe, and then there will be no more, as the manufacturer can’t get the materials needed to make them.
It is especially suited for this year’s summer library reading theme of “Color Your World!” I’ll be opening with this, as will quite a few other magicians I know.
You display a hexagon, measuring 14 inches across. Show it is red on the front, and yellow on the back. You then fold it to bring yellow to the front. Fold it again, and it is now BLUE! Once again you show it is red, yellow and blue. Next, orange appears, followed by green, and finally purple! Six colors on a two sided hexagon!
No get ready, and it instantly resets. Perfect anytime in your show, but I like to use it for my opener, as an “eye test.”
